Star Signs and Zodiac Symbols

Star sign pendants are very popular. They make a great gift for an adult or a teenager. As a Christening gift the are also good as they do not follow fashion. They are timeless and make a great talking point. They come in many various forms from very ornate to simple shape with clean lines. They are usually made in silver or gold, but recently they are being made from titanium and stainless steal as the precious metal prices rise. Do African star signs exist……not that I know of!

As a gift, star sign pendants are unisex – strong bold lines for men and petite dainty pieces for woman and children. It always amazes me that one of the first questions often asked when people meet is “what star sign are you”. Another of my favorites is “you must be a Taurus!” or “you must be a Leo”. How do these people know this. Am I so predictable? Of course if you are wearing a star sign pendant it is easy! However they know, it is always a good way to break the ice. Right or wrong it generally starts a conversation thread that is full of laughter and guesses. Along with the predictions of ones own star sign is the inevitable picking of others in the crowd – “I bet he is an Aquarius!”, or “that is so typical of a Capricorn”. As star signs go, the most searched on star sign is Capricorn with Libra at the bottom – that must say a whole lot about those people who are under those signs. I am guessing that mostly people search for their own star sign – makes Capricorn the most interested or worried about their sun sign. A good place to look for star sign jewelry and star sign pendants is the net. There are literally thousands of variations and price breaks. I particularly like the titanium star sign pendants made by African gold. They are simple, with clean lines – no fuss and very striking.
